Initial consultations run for approx. 1 hour

Your first consultation will run for approx. 1 hour and will cover the following areas:

  • Present health concerns regarding onset, nature of symptoms, medical history and relevant family history.
  • Current Dietary Assessment
  • Assessment and analysis of recent pathology and functional testing (if available)
  • Lifestyle assessment (including sleep, work, study, home routine, emotional state).
  • Specific questions relating to associated body systems (immune, nervous or digestive system etc).
  • A brief physical assessment that may include iris analysis and examination of the tongue and fingernails.

An understanding as to how your symptoms have come about will be explained to you and a therapeutic plan will be devised with your input. ​

Together we will devise a therapeutic plan to suit your individual needs. This plan will include dietary advice and advice regarding lifestyle changes. Your long term health goals will be discussed and you will be required to begin thinking how you can implement positive, healthy changes.

In addition, herbal medicine, vitamin and mineral supplements may be recommended to assist the body in its healing process.

A well-designed plan will provide you with symptomatic relief whilst addressing the key underlying factors that will prevent your symptoms from recurring. Ultimately, we are aiming to restore balance and harmony to body and mind.

LATENESS & CANCELLATION POLICY
Please be aware that your late arrival may result in a reduction of consultation time as a courtesy to our next guest.

We kindly ask our clients to give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations less than 24 hours notice will attract a charge of 50% of the full price and for cancellations with less than 12 hours notice and no shows, you will be charged the full price.

The smooth and effective running of this practice also depends upon your courtesy and co-operation regarding attendance and the keeping of appointments. As you can appreciate, it is very important that you allow sufficient notice if you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason. The reason why we have a cancellation fee is because when you book an appointment, that time slot has been set aside for you and only you. It is not always possible to fit another client in at the last moment, and consequently the practice must bear the brunt of that fee. In this matter, we rely upon your courtesy and hope that you let us know in advance if your plans change.
